About Ora Bed and Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast accommodation,
Takaka Hill, New Zealand.

We are friendly and welcoming New Zealanders who have chosen to live in this beautiful place and wish to share it's mysteries with others.

Our adult children lovingly describe us as middle aged hippies. We hope this is because we like to eat wholesome organic foods, drink good wines, believe we are responsible for ourselves and tread as lightly as possible on Mother Earth.

Living with us at Ora, are Seiki, our Tonkinese cat, Ace, our Kelpie dog, a small herd of cows and calves, some free range laying hens, a few large mountain hares and the occasional wild surprise!

In the past we have had various careers in agricultural sciences, law and hospitality and now we are farmers, gardeners, chefs and decorators and we hope, the best hosts you meet on your holiday.

We look forward to sharing our bed and breakfast on Takaka Hill with you.
